That's what I have been finding over time about the Easy Street Playwright, much of it in a heartbeat; all this love by strangers. My family is one that has always gotten the most out of what has been done for them by those who love them.For example, my mom loves when I tell her about the connection I had with my mom's favorite serenity, her mother, my grandma, my father and his mother. Those were all so comforting to me as a child and now as an adult. This is what having the ability to keep one's heart open to love is all about.So, when I found the name of the Easy Street Playwright whose essay samples the past and present of people who love you and my story did not fit the name or description, I was confused for some time. And I knew I had to go and see for myself.I went to the library and found the name of the writer. I found out she was an older lady with a face I had never seen before. She is published and well known in her field of work as an author, lecturer and author of many plays and poems. Her ideas are loved all over the world.After this discovery, I felt as if the story of the Easy Street Playwright was my story and my journey with her story was the journey I needed to take. I could no longer accept to feel alone, no longer accept to suffer. I could not allow myself to be humiliated or exploited again.I could no longer suffer with bitterness, resentment and anger and learn to cope and thrive with my words online. The vision of the hard times ahead was all too real and the reality of the writing and publishing business was not a fairy tale at all. It was here and it was real, but now I was here to take it all in.I learned that there are those who have become really good readers of poetry and then make their own so it became possible for the Easy Street Theatre Playwright to compile a colle ction of poems and stories. So now we have the written word and voices from the hearts and minds of the many who love us and those who never knew us and those who would like to know us better.So maybe one day the story of the Easy Street Playwright will be mine, the story of the journey of being alive and the endless choices that are waiting for us all. No matter how we may want to get to our destination, the destination is just where we begin. I still smile and I am happy.
